The Team Our Banking & Finance team provides comprehensive legal services to a diverse range of borrowers, sponsors, lenders and public sector bodies, advising on transactions across sectors including real estate, energy and infrastructure, and financial services. Within the wider team, our Real Estate Finance practice is recognised for delivering commercially focused advice on a broad range of investment, development and portfolio financing transactions. We advise major UK and international banks, alternative lenders, debt funds, institutional investors, developers and borrowers on sophisticated financing structures across a range of asset classes. As a Senior Associate, you'll play a leading role on: Investment and development financings Portfolio and multi-asset financings Acquisition and refinancing transactions Cross-border real estate finance matters Corporate real estate-backed lending structures Complex borrower and lender-side mandates You'll work closely with colleagues across Real Estate, Construction, Planning, Tax and Corporate teams, providing a genuinely integrated service to clients and developing a deep understanding of the sectors in which they operate. Alongside technically challenging work, you'll have the opportunity to build long-term client relationships, supervise and mentor junior lawyers, support business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the practice. What you'll need We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded lawyer who can combine strong technical ability with excellent relationship-building skills. You'll ideally have: Significant experience advising on real estate finance transactions Experience acting for lenders, borrowers or both Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills An ability to manage matters with an appropriate degree of autonomy Experience supervising and developing junior team members A proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients Qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales or Scotland Why Join Us?
