Position Title: Production Team Member New / Replacement: Replacement Term: Permanent – Full Time Work Mode: Onsite Reports to: Production Supervisor Shift / Time: 40 hours per week (5 days x 8 hour afternoon shift; rotating days and evenings) Hourly Rate: $20.53–$23.08 Address: Brockville, ON Language: English PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Cooking, inspecting, and packaging our eggs and egg products on a production line for various customers * Preparing finished products for shipment (e.g. packaging, completing appropriate paperwork, building pallets, etc.) * Notice the details, and take steps to solve problems, while performing repetitive tasks * Repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs. * Resolve quality issues while demonstrating a high work ethic * Able to work on flexible shifts with occasional overtime for 40 hours per week * Work as a team and independently in a food production environment KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Knowledge of HACCP and GMP’s would be an asset * Safe food handling procedures and wearing proper PPE WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS * Previous food processing experience is preferred * Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent preferred * Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced workplace * Previous factory or equivalent experience preferred Burnbrae Farms’ Vision is to grow into a world-class egg business using the strength of our people to develop leading edge products and processes. Previous food processing or factory experience is preferred along with an Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible rotating shifts.
