Job summary

Location: CNOOC - Long Lake Shift Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off Hours Per Day: 12 Accommodations: Camp accommodation provided. Trade / Scope Specific responsibilities, including, but not limited to: 1. Inspection of existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components. 2. Diagnose condition of existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components. 3. Perform preventative maintenance on existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components. 4. Recommend best-fit solutions for existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components. 5. Service and repair existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components. 6. Construction of new “trade” infrastructure. 7. Assembly and installation of new and replacement electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components. 8. Communication of inspections, diagnoses, preventative maintenance, recommendations, construction, service / repair, and installation of electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components. 9. Documentation of inspections, diagnoses, preventative maintenance, recommendations, construction, service / repair, and installation of electrical infrastructure, equipment, and related components. 10. Follow safety guidelines, approved processes and procedures on the job site. 11. Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to minimize disruptions and maximize productivity. 12. Work cohesively with teams of employees or contractors. 13. Communicate in a polite and courteous manner. Applicants must already hold the following certifications to be eligible for this position. If the successful candidate does not already possess these certifications, they will be required to obtain them at their own expense prior to commencing work. General Certifications Required: Valid Class 5 Driver's License - Valid Drivers Abstract - No more than 6 demerit points Valid Electrician Journeyman Certificate General Safety Certifications Required: H2S Alive training Fall Protection EWP RPE WHIMIS 2025 Confined space monitor and entry Fire watch/spark watch Gas monitor training

What you’ll do

Requirements

Must hold a valid Electrician Journeyman Certificate and a Class 5 Driver's License with a clean abstract. Required safety certifications include H2S Alive, Fall Protection, EWP, RPE, WHMIS 2025, and Confined Space entry.
