The comprehensive academic, simulator and live flying training are integrated as part of this world-class, turnkey training system. www.cae.com Join CAE in Moose Jaw, SK - Monday to Friday, Day shift (7 AM - 3 PM) - Evening shift (3 PM - 11 PM) Pay: Up to $43.96/ hour All tooling provided on site Clothing, work boots and safety glasses allowance provided Expected hours: minimum 40 hours per week **Relocation support available** RESPONSIBILITIES: The Aircraft Structures Technician is responsible for inspection, modification, and repair of aircraft structures. In your role, you will: Inspect, modify, and repair damage to maintain the structural integrity of the aircraft. Remove and replace line replaceable units and components. Specialty work in maintenance shops as required. Interpret technical publications and diagrams. Carry out workplace inspections and clean ups. Education Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma (or equivalence - Canadian Forces ACS Technician) Possession of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering S License Experience No experience required as CAE offered a comprehensive in-house training program. Candidate Must: Have proven experience or ability to work as part of a team. Have good oral and written communication skills. Be able to work shifts; some travel required. Possess a valid driver’s license. Be able to obtain a Reliability security clearance from the Government of Canada Be eligible to work in Canada, either as a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or valid Work Permit. Successfully pass and maintain security evaluation per the requirements of the Controlled Goods Directorate of Canada and to CAE being able to obtain all necessary re-transfer authorization in compliance with US ITAR regulations. What you’ll do
The Aircraft Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and testing aircraft systems. This includes removing and replacing line replaceable units and components, as well as conducting flight line servicing operations.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma or equivalent and have a minimum of 4 years of aircraft-related experience. They should also be able to work shifts and possess a valid driver's license.
