La Foret is looking for a cook to join our team at our Coquitlam / Burnaby location! *Title: Kitchen Staff(Line & Prep Cook)* *Work Location* -1135 Austin Ave, Coquitlam, BC V3K 3P4 -6848 Jubilee Ave, Burnaby, BC V5J 4B3 *Wage*: $18-20/hour *Hours of Work*: 20-40 hours per week *Terms of Employmen*t: Part-Time, Full - Time, Permanent *Benefit*: Staff Discount, Weekend Staff Meal, 4% of gross salary or 10 days of paid vacation, extended health and dental *Positions Available*: 2 *Job Duties: * * Memorizing recipes, policies, procedures, and standard portion sizes * Preparing ingredients and components of each recipe on the restaurant?s menu * Maintaining freshness of product and FIFO * Working with a team of Cooks to handle varying levels of activity * Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace at all times to avoid contamination * Being aware of and following all kitchen health and safety regulations and guidelines *Job Requirements:* * Food Safe Certification Level 1 mandatory * Minimum 1 year working in kitchen * Flexible to work on evening, weekends and holidays While we appreciate all applications, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
