Sr. UX Designer Location -Kanata Canada - Remote Duration 6 months ******Pay $55hr****** M-F 40hrs per week Duration 4 months What You Will Do Lead end-to-end design for complex features or product areas. Translate user needs and business goals into intuitive and elegant design solutions. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers throughout the product lifecycle. Plan and conduct user research and usability testing to validate and improve designs. Advocate for design quality, user-centric thinking, and accessibility. Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback. Contribute to and help evolve the design system and UX processes Key Skills Advanced visual and interaction design skills. Strong communication and storytelling ability. Effective collaboration and stakeholder management. Proficient in facilitation of workshops, critiques, and cross-functional alignment. Solid understanding of design ethics and accessibility principles Core Technical Competencies Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools (e.g., Protopie, Framer). Skilled in user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI specifications. Ability to conduct or apply findings from qualitative and quantitative research. Understanding of responsive design, mobile-first principles, and front-end collaboration. Familiarity with design systems and version control for design assets. Experience working within Agile or Lean UX methodologies.
