We have a contract opportunity with one of our major clients. They are looking for a SECURITY ENGINEER - hybrid (3 days onsite) for an important project. Position: SECURITY ENGINEER - hybrid (3 days onsite) Location: Montreal , Canada, H3C 2N6 , 438 Duration: Contract : 2 years Job Description: Required Skills: 3+ years in security engineering, SOC analysis, or a related role Experience with telemetry analysis, SIEM tooling, and monitoring or alerting platforms Exposure to Cisco Hypershield, Cisco AI Defense, or AI agent and model behavior monitoring is a plus Cloud or container security experience a plus Strong documentation and communication skills Description: Our client, a global financial services firm, is seeking a Security Engineer to support the day to day operation of an enterprise AI Agent Security program. This role focuses on telemetry onboarding, monitoring, testing, and production support. AI security experience, including exposure to Cisco AI Defense or similar platforms, is a plus but not required for this role. Responsibilities Configure and onboard telemetry sources from AI workloads and supporting infrastructure Support day to day operation of Cisco Hypershield, Cisco AI Defense, or comparable approved platforms as directed by senior engineering staff Monitor and analyze process behavior, network activity, data access, and tool invocation for anomalies Support detection tuning, false positive reduction, and alert quality measurement Execute test plans, document results, and support validation of enforcement changes Produce reporting and documentation to support production operations and knowledge transfer Provide day to day production support, including issue triage and escalation within defined service levels Qualifications 3+ years in security engineering, SOC analysis, or a related role Experience with telemetry analysis, SIEM tooling, and monitoring or alerting platforms Exposure to Cisco Hypershield, Cisco AI Defense, or AI agent and model behavior monitoring is a plus Cloud or container security experience a plus Strong documentation and communication skills

What you’ll do
