Job summary

In this capacity you will lead and coordinate interprofessional teams that provide hospital and community-based clinical services – including active assessment, treatment and rehabilitation - to patients under the auspices of the Ontario Review Board (ORB) and living in the community. This leadership position includes scheduling staff; managing human resources, including recruitment and performance management; as well as team planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. In collaboration with Professional Practice Leaders, you will be responsible for the identification and development of educational requirements for staff, providing supervision to members of the clinical teams, and for the implementation of evidence-based practices. You will be required to support budget planning and monitoring, facilitate the implementation of the CAMH Strategic Plan, participate in planning and project work, as well as contribute to planning and implementation related to upcoming phases of the CAMH redevelopment plan. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and you will ensure the inpatient services are in alignment with program and organizational objectives, vision, mission and values. You may also be called upon to participate in and represent Management in negotiations with Bargaining Agents. You will support a psychologically healthy and safe environment. What you’ll do

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in nursing, psychology, social work, or healthcare administration is required, with a master's degree preferred. Candidates must have 5 years of progressive supervisory experience in a unionized environment and be in good standing with their professional college.
