Duties and Responsibilities * Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes according to established recipes and standards * Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, chopping, portioning, and measuring as required * Ensure food is prepared consistently and meets established quality and presentation standards * Manage multiple food orders efficiently during busy service periods * Monitor food preparation, cooking times, and portion sizes * Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas and equipment * Follow proper food handling, storage, sanitation, and food safety procedures * Ensure ingredients and prepared foods are stored properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination * Assist with inventory monitoring and notify management when kitchen supplies or ingredients need replenishment * Work collaboratively with other kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure efficient food service * Follow workplace health and safety procedures and all applicable food safety requirements Qualifications * *Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cook or in a related cooking/food preparation position* * Experience preparing and cooking meals in a restaurant or food service environment * Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, food handling, and kitchen sanitation * Ability to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced environment * Ability to manage multiple orders while maintaining food quality and consistency * Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills * Reliable, professional, and able to follow established kitchen procedures * *Minimum NCLC 5 in French speaking and listening* * French-language proficiency must be demonstrated through an accepted language test, such as *TEF Canada or TCF Canada* Skills * Cooking and meal preparation * Food handling and food safety * Kitchen organization * Portion control * Time management * Attention to detail * Teamwork and communication * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Knowledge of sanitation and workplace safety procedures We welcome qualified candidates who are passionate about food preparation and are interested in becoming part of a professional and supportive food service team. *Apply today and join our team!* Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
