May 2026 Come join our Team! LiveActive Sport Medicine and Dr Laura Cruz are seeking a part time Sport and Exercise Medicine Physician to join our Ford Performance Centre and Beaches locations. Be part of a growing team of Sport and Exercise Medicine physicians helping athletes of all ages back to the activities they love. We have an excellent collaborative network with Sport Orthopaedics, PM&R, Diagnostic Imaging and dedicated access to Sport Psychiatry. Our extensive Family Physician referral base includes community and hospital based Family Physicians and Specialists across the city. LiveActive Sport Medicine provides collaborative care with our group of sport physiotherapists, athletic therapists, chiropractors, massage therapists and sport dietitian team members. Fully equipped gym spaces facilitate active rehab opportunities for any sport and MSK conditions. We offer unique Concussion Management, Osteoarthritis, Back Pain, Pelvic Health, Running and ACL rehab programmes. We provide an inclusive and welcoming environment for patients and practitioners. The Sport and Exercise Medicine physician will see recreational, Next Gen and elite athletes as well as competitive week- end warriors plus community patients referred for SEM expertise in various MSK conditions. The successful applicant will be fully licensed to practice in Ontario, hold a Dip Sport Med designation or equivalent, eligible for or has a MOH Focused Practice designation and expertise in US guided injections. Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills are key to continuing our mission to provide an exceptional experience for patients and practitioners. Our SEM physicians enjoy full administrative support including OHIP and non-OHIP revenue streams, OHIP billing, multidisciplinary EMR, access to US machine and use of the gym space. Our fee-for-service split is highly competitive. LiveActive is a teaching clinic for the University of Toronto, and opportunities to work with medical learners from Family Medicine (PGY 1,2,3) , Emergency Medicine and PM&R are available.
