We are recruiting on behalf of a prominent Canadian company headquartered in the Greater Toronto Area (Brampton), experiencing significant growth through strategic acquisitions. They are seeking a highly capable CPA who thrives in supporting new initiatives and managing diversified responsibilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive mindset, ownership of key accounting processes, and adaptability to a dynamic launch environment. Key responsibilities and oversight: Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. Establish and document accounting processes, controls, and reconciliations from inception. Prepare and review account reconciliations, identifying risks and proposing solutions. Assist in developing scalable controls and monitoring procedures as volume increases. Generate manual journal entries with comprehensive documentation for compliance. Provide financial analysis and support ad-hoc audit or strategic projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial processes and reporting. The successful candidate will possess the following: CPA designation with experience supporting complex accounting functions. Strong IFRS knowledge, ERP familiarity. Qualified accountant from a major public accounting firm Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly. Self-starter attitude with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
