Airdrie Midwives is seeking a passionate and collaborative Registered Midwife to join our established team in Airdrie, Alberta. This is a full-time position on a three-midwife call rotation, with privileges in Calgary. Established in 2017 as a satellite of Birth Partnership Midwives, Airdrie Midwives serves primarily Airdrie and surrounding rural communities. We provide full-scope, relationship-based maternity care in a practice that values continuity, informed choice, and supporting each other in creating a sustainable midwifery practice. Our practice offers a diverse and rewarding mix of community and hospital-based care, including: A strong out-of-hospital birth practice — approximately 40% of our births occur out of hospital Births at the Arbour Birth Centre Hospital births at Rockyview General Hospital (RGH) Full-scope midwifery care from early pregnancy through six weeks postpartum A three-midwife team with a strong focus on sustainable practice Shared call responsibilities designed with sustainability and work/life balance in mind Excellent interdisciplinary relationships with nursing and obstetric colleagues at RGH, and 24/7 onsite midwife support with the In-House Midwifery Program. Requirements

Must be a Registered Midwife (General or New Registrant) eligible for registration with the College of Midwives of Alberta. Candidates should value continuity of care, client autonomy, and be comfortable with out-of-hospital births.
