Role Description The Dental Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Medicine Hat, AB, responsible for overseeing daily front-office operations in a busy dental practice. This role manages patient scheduling, check-in and check-out processes, and maintains accurate patient records and documentation. The Dental Administrator coordinates treatment plans and billing, processes insurance claims, and ensures timely payments and clear communication with patients about financial matters. The role supports dentists and clinical team members by organizing workflow, maintaining office supplies and equipment, and helping ensure compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements. The Dental Administrator also contributes to a welcoming, professional environment by addressing patient inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting a positive patient experience. Qualifications Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage patient expectations, and support a high-quality, patient-centered experience. Prior experience in a dental or healthcare office setting, with knowledge of appointment scheduling, billing, and insurance workflows. Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional, respectful approach to working with diverse patients and team members. High school diploma required; post-secondary education in office administration, healthcare administration, or a related field is an asset.
