We are seeking an Intermediate Production Accountant to become a key member of our high-performing Production Accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full property accounting cycle, including volumetric submissions, revenue and royalty analysis, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. You will work closely with Operations, Marketing, Joint Venture and regulatory agencies to support accurate production reporting. * Job location: Calgary, Alberta * Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts * Safety sensitive position: No * Application deadline: September 18, 2026 Key Accountabilities: * Gather, validate, and analyze production data and confirm pipeline deliveries * Maintain production accounting records within PAS, including well tests, production, inventories, and product sales * Prepare Oil, NGL, and gas sales splits and submit Volumetric, SAF/OAF, APMC and other required reports to Petrinex and communicate with partners * Record and analyze revenues, royalties, processing charges, trucking charges and accounts receivable balances * Review internal control and exception reports, investigate discrepancies, and respond to joint venture billing inquiries in a timely manner * Collaborate with Operations and field personnel to ensure compliance with EPAP, CAI, Petrinex and Crown regulatory requirements What You Bring to the Role: * Degree in Accounting or Business Administration * CAPPA (Canadian Association of Petroleum Accounting) Certification * 5+ years of production and revenue accounting experience * Experience with PAS, Petrinex, and Microsoft Excel is preferred * Strong analytical, reconciliation, problem-solving, and organizational skills * Self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines What We Offer: * Competitive salary, stock options, company matched stock savings plan, annual bonuses * May be eligible for relocation pursuant to Canadian Natural’s Relocation Policy * 100% Employer paid extended Health, Dental and Vision Benefits * Health & Wellness Spending Account * Multiple volunteer opportunities within the community * Employee & Family Assistance Program * Access to online learning platforms for continuous learning and development * Paid vacation and time off during Christmas week and summer Fridays Check out our COMPENSATION & BENEFITS [https://www.cnrl.com/content/uploads/2024/03/Compensation-and-Benefits-Experienced.pdf] to learn more about what we have to offer!
