Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated intern to join our in-house legal department for summer 2026. In this role, you will be providing support to lawyers, paralegals and business teams, while also assisting with office administrative tasks. This position is ideal for a university or law student interested in gaining hands-on experience in corporate law, compliance, contract management, and international legal operations, all in the broader context of providing renewable energy technologies and services. Key Responsibilities: · Support the parent company legal team and also business teams · Establish and track corporate entities in various global jurisdictions · Liaise with and assist in-house legal and business teams · Assist in implementing policies and carrying out procedures relating to compliance matters, such as Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption, Privacy, Confidentiality Agreements and others · Organize and maintain legal records efficiently, ensuring easy access to documentation for legal team · Undertake term-long projects for organization and management of the legal team · Conduct other duties as required · Assist in office administration tasks at the Kitchener office Ideal Candidate Attributes: · Eager to learn new skills · Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze issues · Capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment · Strong collaboration and communication abilities, comfortable working across various departments · Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of legal work Compensation & Benefits: Canadian Solar Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
