What you'll do As a Capability Analyst, you will connect business strategy with day-to-day execution. You will work with stakeholders to understand challenges, define requirements, improve processes, and support the successful implementation of change. You will bring together perspectives from across the organization, turn complex information into clear actions, and help teams build confidence in new ways of working. We are interested in candidates who understand how change affects people and processes, communicate effectively, and can move work from an idea to a practical, sustainable outcome. Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges, opportunities, and change requirements. Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements, process flows, and desired outcomes. Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for delivery teams and partners. Identify and lead opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen the employee or customer experience. Use data, feedback, and business insight to evaluate options, recommend solutions, and measure results. Develop and execute change approaches that help teams understand, adopt, and sustain new processes and ways of working. Assess change impacts, stakeholder needs, readiness, and adoption risks. Create clear communications, training, documentation, and support resources for impacted audiences. Engage leaders and employees throughout the change journey, gathering feedback and adjusting plans as needed. Track adoption and outcomes, identify barriers, and support continuous improvement after implementation. Lead or support cross-functional initiatives from discovery and design through implementation and stabilization. Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and decision-making discussions with diverse stakeholder groups. Align business objectives, scope, priorities, and deliverables across teams. Manage risks, dependencies, decisions, and action items to maintain momentum and accountability. Balance strategic objectives with practical execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Build trusted relationships across business functions, delivery teams, leaders, and external partners. Communicate complex information clearly and tailor messages to different audiences. Influence without direct authority, resolve ambiguity, and create alignment around shared outcomes. Champion collaborative problem-solving, continuous improvement, and an inclusive approach to change. What you bring Experience supporting or leading business change, process improvement, transformation, capability development, or related initiatives. Strong business analysis skills, including discovery, requirements gathering, process mapping, problem definition, and solution evaluation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions, present recommendations, and tailor messages for different audiences. Ability to lead through influence, build alignment, and work effectively across functions and levels of an organization. Sound judgment, curiosity, adaptability, and a practical, solutions-focused approach. A collaborative leadership style and the confidence to guide teams through uncertainty and change. The ability to listen, ask effective questions, synthesize different perspectives, and turn ambiguity into clear next steps. A continuous improvement mindset and a track record of moving ideas from discussion to implementation. Strong organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing needs. A commitment to building practical solutions that work for both the business and the people affected by change. Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience in business, change management, process improvement, project delivery, or a related field. Experience in a complex, multi-functional organization or with large-scale transformation initiatives. Formal training or certification in change management, business analysis, process improvement, or project management. Experience with digital tools, enterprise platforms, data and reporting solutions, automation, or AI-enabled capabilities is considered an asset. Our typical hiring range is between $53,000 and $70,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
