Job summary The Store Associate works in a fast-paced environment to deliver friendly and courteous service to customers. The role involves store maintenance activities such as stocking shelves, merchandising and general housekeeping. Benefits: Our offering includes • Competitive compensation • Potential for Profit Sharing • Employee Shopping Discounts after probation (3 months) • Learning and Development opportunities • Scholarships • Reward and Recognition Program • A culture of performance & accountability • A supportive and positive team environment Responsibilities: Main Responsibilities & Tasks: • Respond to and handle customer inquiries and concerns in a timely manner, over the phone and in person. • Source and order automotive parts for customers though authorized suppliers. • Schedule Automotive Service appointments and maintain communication with Customers and Automotive Service Technicians throughout service appointments. • Process transactions, returns, warranties, and castings as required. • Perform store maintenance activities including merchandising, stocking shelves, and customer service in the automotive and other store departments as required. Requirements / Skills Requirements: • Full availability to work weekdays and weekends as required. • Demonstrated automotive subject matter knowledge and interest. • Positive attitude, punctuality and solid work ethic. • Experience in a similar role, in a Canadian Tire store or Automotive Service Centre, is considered an asset.
