Requirements
Applicants must be Red Seal-certified Powerline Technician Journeypersons, hold a valid G licence, and be physically able to climb towers and poles, perform rescue techniques, and work outdoors in extreme weather. A maintained DZ or AZ licence is required; supervisory and transmission experience, as well as knowledge of Hydro One safety rules and procedures, are assets.
