What you’ll do
Construct, maintain, and refurbish transmission lines and other components of the Bulk Electrical System, including stringing conductors and installing or replacing towers, insulators, poles, shieldwire, and OPGW. Plan and schedule resources and execute day-to-day activities for the TX Program and TX Capital Projects.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a valid G licence and Red Seal certification as a Powerline Technician Journeyperson, and must maintain a valid DZ or AZ driver's licence. They must be physically able to climb towers and poles, perform rescue techniques, work outdoors in extreme weather, and meet the listed physical demands; supervisory and transmission experience and knowledge of Hydro One safety procedures are assets.
