In 1991, CUC landed their first long-term contract in Vancouver Island, British Columbia with Centra Gas (now FortisBC). CUC continues to provide services to FortisBC today and has since expanded nation-wide to provide services to a number of utilities throughout the country, including PNG, Atco, AltaGas, Enmax, Telus, Manitoba Hydro, and Sask Energy.
In January 2015, CUC continued to expand, both their service offerings and as a company, by becoming a Quanta Services company. Quanta is an integrated, international network of respected companies that construct transmission and distribution facilities for the electrical, petroleum, natural gas and telecom industries.
