The Manager, Solutions is a key member of our CanDeal Solutions group, supporting the development and growth of mutualized utilities servicing the financial industry, This includes creating and reviewing business documentations, supporting the Third party risk Utility team, the Know Your Client (KYC) Operations team, contributing to solutions design and build, managing configuration of KYC & TPR systems, Manager, you will blend analytical skillsets and strategic thinking to support the creation and delivery of mutualized utilities. You’ll drive mutualization requirements, execute functional and integration testing, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality applications and services. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Mutualize requirements from different Financial Institutions into a single Utility requirement, satisfying each institution. Support the development of new mutualized utilities. Initial key focus will support the delivery of a mutualized third-party risk management utility to banks and suppliers in Canada and other geographies that will involve the delivery of a utility and program to the banks and suppliers: Facilitate resolution of disagreements and conflicting requirements, documenting decisions and rationale. Maintain a structured log of open issues, decisions, and dependencies across bank working sessions. Support the end-to-end supplier and bank onboarding to the TPR utility, including outreach, account setup, guidance through the DDQ process, and resolution of queries. Serve as the primary point of contact for participating suppliers and banks, managing relationships and escalating issues as needed. Provide training to new team members on the KYC Utility workflow and tooling. Perform required KYC Operations activities, including KYC Research, Quality Control (QC reviews), and KYC file preparation and delivery. Gather business requirements for Solutions initiatives; create requirements documents and workflows for internal and external stakeholders. Continuously research AI and technology integration opportunities to improve efficiency of business processes. Support functional and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of utility platforms as needed. Support the development of test plans, cases, scenarios, and automated scripts for functional and system integration testing, including regression and synchronous tests. Execute test scripts using standard tools and methodologies, ensuring results align with documented quality targets. Perform manual testing of User Interfaces based on defined test scenarios on FileMaker and other applications. Support system integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing and executing test activities, ensuring alignment with functional and business requirements. Support the development of automated test scripts to programmatically execute UI testing on FileMaker applications. Support defining testing criteria and analyze results to assess functional suitability and system performance, documenting findings and reporting outcomes to stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional team members to support organizational goals, and expand technical capabilities through continuous learning and knowledge sharing. Perform other duties as needed. QUALIFICATIONS 2-3 years in third-party risk, procurement, vendor management, or a related operations/analyst role (or equivalent demonstrated ability). preferably within a major financial institution Experience in third-party risk management and procurement requirements and processes. Working familiarity with OSFI Guidelines B-10, B-13 FINTRAC requirements, and other applicable regulations. Experience in developing or managing mutualized/shared services is an asset. Experience with vendor risk assessment, and due diligence. Familiarity with risk and compliance technology solutions (e.g., GRC platforms, AI-driven risk tools). Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across multiple institutions. Entrepreneurial, visionary, and an enthusiastic attitude. Project Management skills. Requirements
Candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in third-party risk, procurement, or vendor management, preferably within a major financial institution. A strong understanding of regulatory guidelines such as OSFI B-10, B-13, and FINTRAC is required.
