A day in the life of a Forester-in-Training includes: Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Implementing efficiencies and cost-saving initiatives. Completing planning activities and necessary assessments. Conducting field operations: layout planning, timber cruising, preparing final field packages, ensuring quality control, and tracking progress. For this role, you’ll come equipped with: A bachelor's degree in Forestry or a related field (preferred). A strong understanding of forestry principles and practices. Excellent organizational and communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. A willingness to learn and adapt to various forestry functions.
