We're seeking a Certified Welder for Canfor Green Energy in Grande Prairie, AB, where you can utilize your Red Seal technical expertise, communication skills, and troubleshooting abilities to keep our operation at peak performance. As a Certified Welder, your responsibilities will include: Working with a high-performance team dedicated to maintaining conveyors, , mechanical systems, rollers and chains and bearings Weld and repair structural components of sawmill machinery, including frames, supports, and other metal structures. Keeping our systems running smoothly by performing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance Perform maintenance welding to address wear and tear, ensuring the continued safe and efficient operation of equipment. Use welding and cutting equipment to fabricate metal components or parts as needed for sawmill machinery or other equipment. Applying your knowledge, skills, and experience to troubleshoot issues, enhance equipment reliability, and implement safe, reliable fixes to keep the mill running. Ensure that welding activities comply with industry safety standards and regulations. Accountability for assisting in creating a safe work environment for coworkers, customers, and site visitors.
