Position Overview We are seeking an experienced General Foreman to join our Civil division. The successful candidate will provide leadership across multiple crews and work fronts, overseeing the execution of civil construction projects including underground utilities, water and sewer installations, earthworks, and subdivision development. This position is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to multiple Foremen and field crews. Coordinate daily manpower, equipment, subcontractors, and material requirements across multiple work fronts. Oversee the construction of water, sewer, storm, and underground utility infrastructure. Monitor project progress to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications. Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Surveyors, Inspectors, Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution. Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations. Review daily reports, production tracking, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and timely completion. Participate in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in a Civil Foreman, General Foreman, or equivalent supervisory leadership role. Extensive experience with water, sewer, storm, and underground utility installation. Proven experience managing subdivision development, municipal infrastructure, and civil construction projects. Strong understanding of earthworks, grading, road construction, site servicing, and underground infrastructure. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules. Demonstrated leadership experience managing multiple crews, equipment, subcontractors, and project priorities simultaneously. Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills. Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean Driver's Abstract. What you’ll do

Requirements

Requires a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in civil construction, specifically with water, sewer, and storm utility installations. Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License and the ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
