Position: Pipefitter Foreman – Turnaround Canoco is currently hiring experienced Pipefitter Foremen for an upcoming FIFO turnaround project ASAP. We are looking for strong leaders with extensive industrial pipefitting experience who can safely and effectively lead crews in a fast-paced turnaround environment. Qualifications & Education Journeyman Pipefitter Certificate Previous Pipefitter Foreman or supervisory experience Strong Oil & Gas, industrial construction, or turnaround experience Current H2S Alive Confined Space Fall Protection CSTS or CSO WHMIS 2015 Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence Skills, Attributes & Responsibilities Lead and supervise pipefitting crews while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, materials, tools, and equipment Read and interpret isometric drawings, specifications, drawings, and work packages Demonstrate strong pipefitting knowledge, including measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bolt-ups, torquing, bending, and piping installation Provide clear direction to Journeyman and Apprentice Pipefitters Monitor work progress and ensure project schedules and productivity targets are met Conduct and participate in toolbox meetings, FLHAs, and other required safety activities Identify field issues and work collaboratively with supervision to resolve challenges Ensure all work complies with Canoco safety standards, procedures, and client-specific requirements Maintain accurate communication regarding manpower, progress, materials, and project requirements Mentor and support crew members while promoting teamwork, accountability, and Canoco’s “we care” culture Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Requirements

Requires a Journeyman Pipefitter Certificate and previous supervisory experience in industrial or oil and gas environments. Candidates must hold valid safety certifications including H2S Alive, Confined Space, Fall Protection, CSTS/CSO, and WHMIS 2015.
