Position: Skid Steer Operator – Turnaround We are currently hiring experienced Skid Steer Operators for a turnaround project at the CNRL Horizon Site. This is a fly-in/fly-out opportunity with camp accommodations provided, charter flights available from Edmonton or Calgary, and competitive rates. The successful candidates will be responsible for safely operating skid steer equipment while supporting material handling, site cleanup, snow/ground maintenance, equipment movement, and general construction activities throughout the duration of the turnaround. Qualifications & Education: Previous experience operating skid steer equipment in an industrial or construction environment Experience working in the Oil & Gas industry is considered a strong asset Valid Skid Steer Operator certification Valid Class 5 Driver's License Required certifications: H2S Alive, CSTS or CSO, WHMIS 2015, Confined Space, and Fall Protection Ability to commit to the required project rotation, working up to 12-hour shifts for the full duration of the turnaround Skills, Attributes, and Responsibilities: Safely operate skid steer equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and site requirements Operate various skid steer attachments as required for project activities Move, load, unload, and position materials safely throughout the project site Support site cleanup, material handling, grading, and other general construction activities as required Perform pre-use inspections and complete daily equipment inspection reports Identify and report equipment defects or maintenance requirements promptly Work closely with supervision, trades, and other site personnel to support daily operations Maintain awareness of site hazards and ensure safe operation around personnel, structures, and other equipment Maintain excellent housekeeping practices and ensure work areas remain clean and organized Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while maintaining a commitment to safety and quality Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Canoco safety standards and client-specific requirements What We Offer: Fly-in/Fly-out opportunity with charter flights from Edmonton or Calgary Camp accommodations provided Travel allowance program available for eligible out-of-province workers Opportunity to work on a major industrial turnaround project with an experienced team

Requirements

Requires previous industrial or construction skid steer experience and a valid Skid Steer Operator certification. Must hold a Class 5 Driver's License and specific safety certifications including H2S Alive, CSTS/CSO, WHMIS 2015, Confined Space, and Fall Protection.
