Revenue Generation Specialist CANRev Collaborative | Remote, Canada Help organizations grow their revenue and their impact. CANRev Collaborative is looking for a Revenue Generation Specialist to help our association, charity and nonprofit clients grow through sponsorship, advertising and partnerships. This role combines sales and client service. You’ll research prospects, develop compelling opportunities, lead outreach, build relationships and close sales. If you enjoy connecting with people, finding the right angle for a pitch and turning conversations into partnerships, we’d love to hear from you. About CANRev Founded in 2021, CANRev Collaborative helps charities, associations and nonprofits, the C.A.N. in CANRev, generate revenue to support their missions. We work as an extension of our clients’ teams, combining revenue strategy with the practical work needed to make it happen. Our work includes sponsorship sales, advertising, membership growth, fund development and event revenue. We’re a small, collaborative team that values initiative, creativity, accountability and strong relationships. The Role You’ll work across several client accounts, helping each organization identify and secure revenue opportunities. One day, you might be pitching a corporate partnership; the next, developing an advertising campaign or introducing an employer to a client’s membership or training programs. You’ll manage opportunities from initial research through to signed agreements, while keeping clients informed and coordinating with the team to ensure partners receive the benefits promised. Some opportunities will involve booking qualified meetings and working alongside client leadership to advance the sale. What You’ll Do Find new opportunities: Research companies, identify decision makers and build targeted prospect lists for sponsorship, advertising, membership and other revenue programs. Lead sales outreach: Write tailored emails, make calls, connect through LinkedIn and follow up consistently to move opportunities forward. Develop compelling offers: Help create sponsorship packages, advertising opportunities and partnership proposals that connect client assets with a company’s business objectives. Build relationships: Understand prospects’ priorities, cultivate new partnerships and identify opportunities for renewals and growth. Generate meetings and close sales: Qualify prospects, arrange meetings, present opportunities, negotiate terms and prepare proposals and agreements. Support our clients: Participate in client meetings, share progress and recommend practical ways to strengthen revenue programs. Keep the pipeline organized: Maintain accurate CRM records, next steps, sales forecasts and revenue reports. Represent our clients: Attend occasional conferences, tradeshows and industry events to build connections and follow up on new leads. Coordinate delivery: Work with clients and colleagues to communicate commitments and support sponsor fulfillment. What You Bring Experience generating revenue through sponsorship, advertising, partnerships, fundraising or a related sales role. A track record of moving opportunities from initial outreach to a successful close. Strong writing skills and the ability to create clear, persuasive emails and proposals. Confidence initiating conversations, presenting ideas and asking for the sale. Excellent organization and consistent follow through, including managing multiple accounts, deadlines and prospect pipelines. The ability to understand different organizations, audiences and industries and adapt your approach. Comfort working independently in a remote environment while staying connected to a collaborative team. Experience using CRM systems, spreadsheets and prospecting tools, with a willingness to learn new platforms. Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events. Experience with associations, charities or nonprofits is an asset. We also welcome candidates with relevant sales experience who can demonstrate how their skills would translate to our clients’ work. Why Join CANRev? Meaningful work: Help organizations earn the revenue they need to advance their missions. Variety: Work with different clients, industries and revenue opportunities. Ownership: Take responsibility for your accounts and see the results of your work. A collaborative team: Contribute ideas and work closely with colleagues who care about client success. Tools and support: Access sales tools, ongoing coaching and opportunities to develop your skills. Flexibility and benefits: Remote work, a Health Spending Account and performance incentives. CANRev Collaborative welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences. If you require accommodation during the hiring process, please contact edward@canrevcollab.com. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada. We thank everyone who applies; only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
