The primary objective of this role is to provide professional customer service and process orders using knowledge, company systems and parts catalogues. The individual will also pick, ship, receive, stock and organize automotive parts and effectively deliver automotive parts to customers. Key Responsibilities * Provide quality customer service and assist customer inquiries both in-person and over the phone using automotive knowledge, company database and parts catalogue * Answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner, and make follow-up calls to customers as necessary * Complete necessary paperwork (e.g. warranty forms) in an accurate manner * Maintain overall store appearance by cleaning and organizing on a regular basis * Pick, receive, ship, stock, organize, and deliver auto parts orders when necessary * Other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team Key Requirements and Experiences * Minimum 5 years of automotive aftermarket parts experience (customer service, sales, repair) required * Customer service experience * A valid G Driver’s license and clean 3-year abstract preferred * Basic computer skills (e.g. ability to use and navigate Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel, online database and web-based training) * Basic mathematical skills and understanding of basic units of measurement * Ability to sort items alphanumerically Desirable Skills and Abilities * Knowledge of wholesale practices and techniques * Strong communication skills (verbal and written) * High level of professionalism * Positive attitude with a flexible mindset * Health and safety awareness (e.g. safe material handling practices, knowledge and application of proper ergonomics and hand hygiene) * Accountability and dependability * Excellent ability to work independently and as a team * Time management skills and prioritization skills with a deadline-oriented mindset * Ability and willingness to learn new technology and procedures * Attention to detail and excellent organization skills * Ability to multitask * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take initiatives as necessary (challenge-seeking attitude) * Ability to understand, respond to, and work with a diverse population * Strong willingness to improve, learn, and adapt in accordance with new practices and change Physical Requirements * Ability to reliably work 40 to 44 hours per week * Ability to lift and move 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) to 50 lbs.
