MECHANIC (INDUSTRIAL)

Caoutchoucs et Plastiques Falpaco Inc., located in the Granby industrial park, specializes in the molding of custom parts made of rubber, plastic, silicone, thermoplastic, elastomer, and polymer. The company acts as a subcontractor in the molding of plastic parts for some of its clients in addition to offering its own products on the market. It has a complete mechanical machining shop for the manufacture of molds and dies used in injection, compression, and transfer processes, as well as a metal stamping service. Duties The incumbent will be responsible for: installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and the building; performing preventive maintenance; Install molds on compression/injection presses; Manufacture non-complex machines and production equipment (Perform maintenance on injection presses and molds; Perform maintenance on peripheral equipment; Perform maintenance on equipment integrated into the building; Diagnose and repair hydraulic problems; Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic problems; Upgrade equipment/machines as requested; Maintain an up-to-date inventory of parts and tools; Clean and maintain accessories and work equipment.) Skills Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems. Ability to perform welding work.

The mechanic will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance. Additional duties include diagnosing and repairing various mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.

Candidates should have the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems, as well as perform welding work. Experience in maintaining and repairing production equipment is essential.
