Data Engineer (contract)

Need a Senior Level Data Engineer with around 6-8 yrs of IT experience. Responsible for writing various transformation using either Python scripts and/or DBT Models in Snowflake. Required Qualifications Experience: 6-8 years of IT experience with 4-5 yrs of experience working on data engineering projects. DBT: Expert-level SQL and experience managing complex dbt projects. Need to have experience in CI/CD management and job schedulers. This is very important and will definitely need to brush up on SQLs. Python: Good experience in creating ETL pipelines and API integrations with Snowflake. This is going to be asked, so need to know how Python works in ETL pipeline including memory management, clustering concept etc. Snowflake: Hands-on knowledge of Snowflake; at least conceptual knowledge of Snowflake architecture is preferred. However, good data warehousing experience is a must, even if Snowflake experience is limited. The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $34.88/hour - $54.50/hour. Our offered benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. The candidate will be responsible for writing data transformations using Python scripts and DBT models within Snowflake. They will also develop ETL pipelines and manage API integrations.

Requires 6-8 years of IT experience with a strong focus on expert-level SQL, DBT, and Python for data engineering. Proficiency in Snowflake architecture and CI/CD management is highly desired.
