KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Lifeguard a diverse set of activities * Ensuring effective program instruction in a fun and safe manner for participants * Assists with the delivery of special events * Ensuring cleanliness of pool deck and surrounding areas. * May be required to assist with administration duties as required. * Follows all policies, procedures and standards of the CRD. * Performs other duties as required. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION * None KEY SKILLS & ABILITIES * Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and customer service skills are required. * Familiar with emergency procedures and able to respond accordingly * Knowledgeable of the aquatic facilities rules and regulations * Ability to work independently with general supervision in a relatively structured environment QUALIFICATIONS * None CERTIFICATIONS * Acceptable criminal record check. Requirements
Candidates must possess a National Lifeguard Certificate, Standard First Aid and CPR-C, and a Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor certification. A successful criminal record check is also required.
