You support our team as QA Technician (f/m/d) Responsibilities Conduct thorough analysis of raw materials and finished products, including flavors, colors, coatings, and Vivapigments, to ensure they meet established quality specifications. Generate accurate and timely Coa’s for all finished products. Release raw materials and finished products in SAP. Review and keep quality documents up to date Manage laboratory inventory and order necessary supplies to support ongoing lab operations. Ensure lab equipment is regularly verified and calibrated. Assist the quality manager with customer requests and updating supplier records Reporting and following up on nonconformities, supplier complaints, and customer complaints. Follow the schedule and perform routine environmental tests, equipment inspections, etc. Perform GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) inspections and other quality checks. Train staff on quality standards and best practices, providing continuous education on various quality topics. Ability to review the supplier management program, including updating the supplier list and managing related documents (questionnaires, specifications, certificates). Maintain HACCP, Halal, Kosher, and FSSC 22000 certifications Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and problem resolution. Conduct quality training for new hires and annual staff refreshers. Facilitate communication across departments to support quality objectives Actively participate in and assist during internal and external audits. Provide support to the Quality Manager as needed, assuming key responsibilities in their absence, and any related tasks as needed Qualifications DEC in Food Process Technology, Bachelor’s degree in food science, Chemistry, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in quality assurance or laboratory analysis, preferably in the food industry. Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems for material release and data management. Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, and other quality and safety regulations. Experience with certification processes such as Halal, Kosher, and regulatory compliance. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Requirements
Candidates must have a DEC in Food Process Technology or a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance within the food industry and proficiency in SAP and bilingualism (French/English) are required.
