WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Experience * A law degree. * Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. * A minimum of five (5) years experience advising entrepreneurs and startups, preferably from private practice at a major Canadian law firm * The ability to give a clear, business-driven answer under time pressure and stand behind it. * Comfort operating with autonomy. Our lawyers are independent by design and run their own mandates. Specialized Expertise * Assist a variety of growth companies with corporate legal services including company formation, shareholders’ agreements, private placements, corporate transactions, stock option plans, license agreements, terms and conditions of use and employment matters. * Comfortable representing Caravel at various startup related conferences, networking events and organizations. Requirements

Requires a minimum of five years of experience in private practice at a major Canadian law firm. Must be called to the Ontario Bar and possess strong organizational and project management skills.
