CareRx is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant L2 to join our Pharmacy team in supporting a group of LTC Homes and Retirement Communities. The Pharmacy Assistant will assist with the preparation, packaging and organization of medication deliveries, while supporting daily operations in accordance with the Pharmacy Standards of Practice. Role Accountabilities Preparing, processing, and filling prescriptions using eMAR and Kroll pharmacy software, including handling refills and third-party adjudications. Receiving, stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory, including managing returns of expired products. Preparing and ensuring timely delivery of prescriptions and labels to care facilities and retirement homes, Managing supplies and performing other related administrative duties. Responding to inquiries from nurses and healthcare providers, and directing calls to appropriate staff. Ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining confidentiality, adhering to ethical standards, and contributing to a clean pharmacy environment Assisting with various pharmacy operations, including potentially operating automated machines and compounding prescriptions under pharmacist supervision as well as consulting with management on unresolved issues. Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate's credentials and experience. Location: This is on-site role at our Oakville Pharmacy located at 3430 Superior Ct. Requirements

Pharmacy Assistant experience or certification from an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program is preferred but not required. Candidates should have working knowledge of Kroll and eMAR systems, Microsoft Office competency, ability to operate PACMed and PACVision machines, strong organizational and time-management skills, clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
