This role is responsible for performing diverse and confidential pharmacy and administrative support duties. As an administrative assistant you will report directly to the Pharmacy Manager. Your Day to Day Edit and print internal and external letters, memos, and supplies Review expenses, invoices, cheque requisitions and other forms. Ensure appropriate approval, distribution to appropriate individuals/ departments for processing Prepare paper supplies for new residences/homes securing and set up of various accounts for pharmacy operations Provide administrative support for Health and Safety Committees and Representatives as needed Answer incoming phone calls to the pharmacy and paging/re routing the phone calls to the appropriate individuals Sort and track mail or parcel packages responding to emails and organizing/scheduling/catering for events/conferences Other duties as assigned What You Bring To The Team Office Administration Certificate or Diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minmum 1+ year of experience in a related administrative environment Customer service oriented Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize work demands to ensure a timely completion Ability to manage changing priorities Well organized Must be willing to work on site Able to act without guidance Qualities for Success: Flexible and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines Strong organizational and time management skills oriented to a fast-paced work environment Professionalism with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written Self-starter, ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional and positive attitude Ability to take initiative Compensation Range: $18-$22/hour. Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate's credentials and experience. Requirements
