The On-Site Facility Technician is responsible for performing general building maintenance, repair, and minor installation work within an office and warehouse environment. This role supports the daily operation of the facility by ensuring building systems, equipment, and infrastructure remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. The incumbent works independently to complete assigned work orders, address facility-related issues, and support special projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, customer service, and operational efficiency. Job Title: On-site Facilities Technician Work Location: On-site at our Clients facility near Victoria square in Markham, off Hwy 404 Work Schedule: 8:30am - 4:30pm Salary Range: $61,500-$68,000 Full time & Permanent position of 40 hours per week Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: · Directly responsible for performing maintenance, repair and or installation labor tasking procedures in an office/Warehouse environment (painting, patching, minor pluming repairs, door hardware, office furniture repairs/adjustments) · Directly responsible for adhering to Company and customer safety policies and practices. · Directly responsible to perform all work in the most expeditious and cost-efficient means possible while assuring customer satisfaction. · Ensures that all service tasking activities are carried out in compliance with local, provincial, and federal requirements · Prioritize and complete daily, weekly and monthly work orders. · Identifying building equipment problems and recommend corrective action. · Directly responsible for reporting safety, quality and or productivity problems. · Support Facility Superintendent with special projects. · Undertaking other tasks and assignments assigned Requirements: · 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role as a facility maintenance coordinator · Working in an Industrial building/Warehouse e is an asset. · Highschool diploma required · Communicate in English verbally and in writing fluently. · Good Computer skills Performance Factors: Incumbent must be able to: 1. Work hard with little supervision. 2. Able to lift up to 30-50lbs 3. Be self-confident. 4. Have excellent communication skills. 5. Deal comfortably with customers with diverse backgrounds.
