Our client is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead weekend shift production operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, productivity, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing leader with experience managing shop floor operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, developing frontline teams, and delivering measurable KPI results in a production environment. Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 5:30 AM - 5:30 PM What You'll Do Lead daily shop floor operations to ensure production schedules, customer requirements, and business objectives are achieved Optimize labor, equipment, and material resources to maximize productivity and efficiency Monitor and drive performance against key metrics including Safety, Quality, Productivity, Turnaround Time (TAT), and Cost Champion and enforce compliance with Quality standards, Training requirements, 6S practices, and ES&H policies Lead and support Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives across operations Investigate and resolve operational issues, non-conformances, and audit findings within required timelines Coach, mentor, and develop frontline employees while managing performance and accountability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and achieve operational goals Support workforce planning and resource allocation to meet changing business demands Contribute to short-term and long-term operational planning initiatives Foster positive working relationships within a unionized manufacturing environment where applicable Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent industry experience will be considered 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse operations, or a related operational environment 3+ years of leadership experience supervising hourly employees or production teams Proven experience driving operational performance and achieving KPI targets Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, 5S/6S, and problem-solving methodologies Experience managing production output, workforce performance, safety, quality, and operational efficiency Strong leadership, coaching, delegation, and employee development skills Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced operational environment Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French The Ideal Candidate Has successfully led teams within a manufacturing, production, industrial, aerospace, automotive, logistics, or technical environment Thrives in a hands-on leadership role supporting frontline operations Uses data and KPIs to make decisions and improve performance Has a track record of improving productivity, quality, safety, and operational efficiency Leads by example and builds a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement Effectively balances employee engagement with business performance objectives Is comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities Brings strong judgment, attention to detail, integrity, and a commitment to operational excellence This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader to join a growing organization, make a direct impact on operational performance, and help drive a culture of continuous improvement while leading a critical weekend production shift.

Requirements

Candidates should have manufacturing leadership experience, a record of achieving KPI targets, knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement methods, strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills, and English and French communication skills.
