Your Day-to-day Operate and maintain steam boiler, and other utility equipment in accordance with MB Safety Authority regulations. Prepare and monitor starch batches used in the manufacturing process, ensuring proper consistency, quality, and supply for production needs. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues within the steam plant. Monitor and record system readings, maintain logbooks, and report any abnormalities. Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and safety protocols. Support other maintenance tasks and participate in plant shutdowns and startups. Collaborate with the production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime. Your strengths as a Power Engineer 3rd class You Are a Natural Fit For This Role If A valid 3rd Class Power Engineer Certificate MB is required for this position. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and drawings. Able to read and understand specifications and drawings and computer literacy.
