**OVERVIEW:** Cascadia Windows & Doors is an innovative, industry-leading manufacturer that creates beautifully designed fiberglass windows, doors, and cladding support systems. Included in some of the most exciting and award-winning construction projects across North America, Cascadia’s goal is to help revolutionize the energy efficiency of modern buildings and drive the adoption of high-performance building products. The Window Installer is responsible for installing Cascadia’s high-performance windows and doors throughout the Greater Vancouver Area. **QUALIFICATIONS:** - Construction experience and knowledge of installation practices for windows & doors. - 1-3 years of window and door installation experience. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. - Experience caulking, sheathing & detailing building envelopes. - Able to read blueprints and work order specifications. - Comfortable working with heights and scaffolding. - honest, reliable, professional, and a problem solver. - Positive attitude and the ability to take direction. - Self-motivated and proud of workmanship. - Open to a background check. **GENERAL LIST OF RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Determine layout and installation procedures. - Measure and mark guidelines for installation. - Installation of high-performance windows and doors. - Meticulous foaming and caulking. - Envelope detailing, in keeping with modern best practices. - General labour, as required. **WHAT WE OFFER:** - An opportunity to make your mark in a well-established but growing company that is focused on helping the construction industry achieve higher-performing buildings. - Competitive salary and benefits program. - Continuous training and opportunities to learn with a knowledge-based company that is at the forefront of the green building movement. **Salary and Benefits:** - **Salary:** $25.00 - $27.00/hour - 100% company-paid extended benefits package after 3 months. - RRSP program after 2 years. **About Cascadia Windows & Doors:** Cascadia Windows & Doors is an innovative, industry leader, manufacturing beautifully designed architectural fiberglass windows, doors, and cladding support systems.
