Life Skills and Community Guide Volunteer Would you like to assist newcomers in achieving their life skills goals and begin to explore the community of Edmonton and useful resources that will help them in their day-to day living and integration? Life Skills and Community Program may be the right volunteer role for you! Desired skills and qualifications include: Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service Being able to teach in a variety of ways for various learning abilities Organizational skills Willingness to do routine or repetitive tasks Attention to details and accuracy Being able to use technology: Google Maps, navigation of the ETS bus and LRT train Speaking additional languages such as Arabic, Somali, Tigrinya, Kinyarwanda, Swahili, Amharic, and Oromo are an asset, but not required Schedule: Weekdays from 9 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm. The following positions are available: 5-7 Volunteers

Requirements
Strong communication and organizational skills are required, along with the ability to teach various learning styles. Proficiency in using technology like Google Maps and public transit navigation is essential.
