Job Description We are seeking dedicated and team-oriented individuals to join our packaging operation team. The Packaging/Processing Operator position involves operating various equipment, performing cleaning and sanitation tasks in the packaging area, and assisting co-workers during the downtime. Job rotation is required. Upon completion of the training, successful candidates will be assigned to the crew as needed and may also work in no-operating roles when required. Responsibilities Cleaning air hose equipment, opening bags of rejected products, placing them in appropriate bin, and disposing of bags Sweep and clean packaging floors Perform regular bag checks, complete and document findings Conduct metal detector verification every 2 hours or at change over. Complete hourly coding checks. Change or add plastic or paper rolls using poly lift. Replenish tape in case of sealer. Operate equipment according to predetermined pack plans, completing multiple changeovers per day when required. Assist in Operational Clean Ups (OCUs), following all procedures and checklists. Support startup, shutdown and refresh procedure according to standard operating procedures Train other operators or trainees in this area when required Qualifications Demonstrated good work history and attendance record Neat and legible handwriting Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn and operate equipment safely and efficiently Basic computer skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Physical ability to perform all aspects of the job safely Willingness to work overtime as required Willingness to work on any crew or shift assignment Willingness to train and support other operators and trainees as required Successful completion of all required chemical handling training Successful completion of the Forklift Safety Course Must attain an acceptable score on all required aptitude assessments, including: CDAT Assessment Predictive Index Assessment (Cognitive and Behavioral)

Requirements
