In this role, you won't just run tests—you will actively define and continuously improve the end-to-end testing lifecycle. You will be responsible for establishing common automation frameworks, optimizing defect management, and aligning test processes with critical business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Framework Design: Establish, maintain, and optimize comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks across multiple development teams. Test Lifecycle Management: Define and manage defect reporting, triage processes, and test execution cycles to ensure high-quality software delivery. Test Execution & Automation: Create, maintain, and execute automated and manual test cases for complex web and database applications. Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable, robust test coverage. Must have skills/experience/qualifications Must have 5+yrs of Core QA & Automation and the following Automation Frameworks & Tools: Proven experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and proprietary/open-source test automation suites (experience with Qtest, RAFT, or Litmus is a strong plus). Programming & Version Control: Proficient in Java and experienced with Git for source control. Database Testing: Strong proficiency in MS SQL / SQL for data validation, querying, and back-end testing. Web Application Testing: Extensive experience testing complex, multi-tiered web applications. Process & Collaboration Tools Deep familiarity with Jira for defect management and tracking. Advanced skills in MS Excel for data analysis and test reporting. Preferred Industry Experience Financial Services / Banking: Strong domain knowledge in banking systems, Payment processing, or financial application testing. Compliance & AML: Direct experience testing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) systems is highly valued.
