In collaboration with a dedicated school team, you will help students overcome their difficulties, develop their full potential, and regain confidence in their abilities. Because appropriate support today can change an entire trajectory tomorrow. ✨ Responsibilities: Assess the learning needs of students with academic difficulties (reading, writing, mathematics, etc.); Implement targeted pedagogical interventions individually or in small groups; Support the development of students' learning strategies (organization, attention, memorization, comprehension); Adapt content, materials, and assessments according to students' needs; Use and integrate technological tools to aid learning when relevant; Collaborate with the school team (teachers, speech therapists, psychoeducators, administration, etc.); Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of intervention plans (IP); Advise and support teachers in pedagogical differentiation and intervention strategies; Ensure regular monitoring of students' progress and adjust interventions accordingly; Work in partnership with parents and external stakeholders to promote student success. Requirements Desired requirements and skills: Strong interest in the clientele (mild intellectual disability, giftedness, learning support, language and communication, students with adaptation difficulties and psychopathology); Empathy and patience; Ability to motivate and engage students with learning difficulties; Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment; Very good knowledge of spoken and written French. Strong interest in supporting students with diverse learning, communication, behavioral, and adaptation needs is desired, along with empathy, patience, motivation, flexibility, and adaptability. High-level spoken and written French is required; a probationary teaching license is required, while the listed bachelor’s degrees and other teaching authorizations or certificates are assets.
