Role Description The Digital Print Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Montreal QC. This role is responsible for operating digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials that support clinical, administrative, and educational activities across MUHC. Day-to-day tasks include setting up print jobs, adjusting machine settings, monitoring print runs, and performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printers and related equipment. The Digital Print Operator also handles finishing and bindery tasks such as cutting, folding, collating, and binding documents, while ensuring accurate job completion and timely delivery. The role requires adherence to established quality standards, coordination with internal clients to clarify requirements, and meticulous record-keeping of production activities. Qualifications Print production and printing skills, with experience setting up, running, and maintaining digital print equipment. Bindery skills, including cutting, folding, collating, and binding to complete finished print materials. Printer support skills, including basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and coordination with technical service providers. Quality control skills, with the ability to inspect output, identify defects, and ensure consistency with specifications and branding standards. Relevant experience in a print shop, reprographics center, or digital printing environment; experience in healthcare or institutional settings is an asset. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines safely and efficiently. Comfort with computerized job ticketing systems and basic office software; willingness to learn new print and workflow technologies. Ability to work on-site in Montreal, QC, collaborate with diverse teams, and follow MUHC policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

Operate digital printing equipment to produce high-quality materials for clinical, administrative, and educational use. Perform finishing tasks such as binding and cutting while conducting routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Requirements
