Responsibilities Tasks Calculate fixed assets and depreciation Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions Load and unload goods Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Perform brake adjustments Perform emergency roadside repairs Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Perform preventive maintenance Receive and relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses AZ class license Additional information Transportation/travel information Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Handling heavy loads Large workload Physically demanding Repetitive tasks Sitting Own tools/equipment Cellular phone

Requirements
A secondary school graduation certificate and an AZ class licence are listed; experience is an asset. Applicants need a valid driver's licence and must be able to handle heavy loads and physically demanding, repetitive work while maintaining attention to detail.
