Job summary
Position Description This role requires working from our downtown Toronto office and/or client office at a minimum of 2 days per week, subject to change based on business needs. We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Delivery Lead / Agile Delivery Manager to drive successful delivery across complex projects and programs. In this role, you will leverage Agile, hybrid, and waterfall methodologies to ensure predictable, transparent, and high-quality outcomes for stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, Product Owners, architects, vendors, and business partners to remove delivery obstacles, improve processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This position requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and coaching capabilities to navigate complex initiatives in a dynamic enterprise environment. Your future duties and responsibilities Lead and facilitate discovery sessions, story mapping workshops, and Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Coach teams and Product Owners on Agile principles, prioritization, estimation, backlog management, and delivery best practices. Drive project and program planning, refinement activities, dependency management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor and report on delivery performance using Agile metrics and key performance indicators. Maintain and oversee JIRA artifacts, financial tracking, forecasts, and value realization reporting. Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to support architecture reviews and delivery planning. Coordinate activities across vendors, third-party partners, and extended delivery teams. Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies. Prepare and communicate project status updates, executive reporting, and release readiness documentation, including MOR readiness activities. Ensure adherence to organizational delivery frameworks, including Agile, ASP, SDLC, PDLC/PMLC, governance, and compliance requirements. Support DevOps, release management, and deployment planning activities. Resolve complex delivery challenges and contribute to broader organizational initiatives and process improvements. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment. Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in project delivery, Agile leadership, program management, or a related discipline. Post-secondary education in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience leading complex enterprise projects and programs using Agile, hybrid, and waterfall methodologies. Experience working with cross-functional teams in large, matrixed organizations. Required Skills Advanced knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, SDLC, PDLC/PMLC, iterative delivery approaches, and hybrid project frameworks. Strong understanding of delivery management, governance practices, DevOps principles, release management, and architecture processes. Experience with financial management, budgeting, forecasting, value realization, and delivery performance measurement. Proficiency with Agile tools such as JIRA and related reporting solutions. Excellent facilitation, coaching, and team leadership capabilities. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and complex problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and influence skills across technical and business audiences. Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt effectively in a dynamic environment. Strong focus on continuous improvement, collaboration, and delivery excellence. "CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000–$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy."
