The Role We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer based in Toronto that can focus on Product and make sure that our customers are delighted. You’ll be working in-office at least 3 days per week, and you will report directly to the CTO. In your first month, you’ll work on mission-critical features, bug fixes, and large projects that span the three phases of our brand protection pipeline: detection, reviewing, and takedowns. By end of month 3, you’ll own one of these areas and will be responsible for shipping improvements, building new tooling, and instrumenting new metrics to assess pipeline health and opportunities for automation. Strong UI/UX skills are a must have for this role as you will be dealing with highly technical buyers and information-dense display. You’re the right fit if you value: Mission-critical product. Sample Projects Create new rules and enrichments for Apple App Store and Google Play Store so that we can detect fake apps with high confidence and initiate takedown requests faster. Implement a backtesting framework for rules that allows rule developers to quantitatively verify the historical accuracy of their rules before rolling them out to avoid false positives. Implement a new browser sandbox that allows for automated discovery of Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) from suspected phishing websites. Requirements 3+ years writing high-quality, production code Worked at a startup in the 0 → 1 or 1 → 100 stage Able to work in-person from our Toronto office at least 3 days a week AI-native, using AI agents in day-to-day coding workflows Experience shipping full-stack product features with excellent UI/UX design, frontend, and backend skills Experience talking to customers directly and understanding what their needs are Experience with full-stack TypeScript codebase and monorepos Strong written and verbal technical communication skills Compensation & Perks $130k-170k base salary Meaningful equity Health benefits, learning budget, and the tools you need.
