Position Summary: We are currently hiring a Floor Care Janitor Position Temporary at Fort Leonard Wood, Saint Robert MO. Must have a class E D.L This is a Temporary position Only Schedule: Full Time Salary:$17.75 Shift: Flex, Day - Monday-Friday Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm, but some duties will require night hours of 5:00pm - 1:30am for stripping and waxing floors. Typical Duties: * Maintains floor care in various buildings. Sweeps, vacuums, dust mops, wet mops, scrubs, strips, restores, waxes floor, buffs, cleans carpets, power scrub floors. * Operates floor care equipment. clean and maintains hard surface floors using various kinds of power equipment and cleaning solutions. * Maintains equipment by performing preventative and minor maintenance. * Assist crew in completing contract required tasks: clean, sanitize, and restock bathrooms, including sweep and mop floors, sinks, toilets, glass and mirror, stall walls. Vacuum, sweep, mop of floors and stairs. Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as Necessary. * Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals. * And other related duties as required. * Reports to the Project Manager Minimum Qualifications: * Candidates with a documented disability will be strongly considered * Pass federal and state background checks * Ability to communicate effectively * Ability to follow instructions * Lifting and carrying up to 45 lbs. * Pushing and pulling up to 45 lbs. Maintain hard surface floors through sweeping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and buffing using power equipment. Assist the crew with general janitorial tasks including sanitizing bathrooms and emptying trash receptacles.

Candidates must be able to pass federal and state background checks and communicate effectively. Physical requirements include the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 45 lbs.
