𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲: Psychiatrist Advisor Healthcare Shares is seeking experienced psychiatrists to serve as Psychiatrist Advisors. This role is ideal for physicians with firsthand experience in mental health care, behavioral health, addiction medicine, telepsychiatry, digital mental health, care coordination, value-based care, healthcare AI, medication management, patient engagement, or healthcare innovation. As a Psychiatrist Advisor, you will provide clinical, operational, and strategic insight to help Healthcare Shares evaluate, support, and grow healthcare startups within our venture capital fund, venture studio, and broader healthcare entrepreneurship ecosystem. This is a flexible, remote advisory opportunity for psychiatrists who are passionate about improving mental health access, care delivery, affordability, patient outcomes, and innovation through entrepreneurship. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 • Provide clinical and strategic guidance on healthcare startups focused on psychiatry, behavioral health, mental health care delivery, addiction medicine, telepsychiatry, digital health, healthcare AI, patient engagement, and related areas. • Support Healthcare Shares in evaluating healthcare startups, founders, business models, clinical relevance, workflow fit, scalability, patient impact, and social impact potential. • Advise portfolio companies, venture studio projects, and healthcare entrepreneurs on psychiatry workflows, clinician adoption, patient care pathways, care coordination, clinical validation, commercialization strategy, and go-to-market considerations when appropriate. • Offer relevant introductions, industry insight, and subject matter expertise across psychiatry, behavioral health, health systems, digital mental health, employer health, payer/provider models, healthcare technology, and startup ecosystems. • Participate in periodic advisory discussions and contribute practical recommendations based on your clinical experience and area of expertise. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 • MD or DO with experience practicing psychiatry. • Board certification or board eligibility in psychiatry preferred. • Experience in mental health care, behavioral health, addiction medicine, telepsychiatry, digital mental health, medication management, value-based care, healthcare AI, startups, investing, advisory work, or healthcare innovation preferred. • Strong understanding of psychiatry workflows, patient care pathways, clinician adoption, behavioral health access challenges, care coordination, and real-world barriers to healthcare technology adoption. • Ability to commit approximately 2–4 hours per month to advisory board participation and strategic advisory activities. Advisors may also have opportunities to support Healthcare Shares venture studio companies and startup clients, including potential sweat equity opportunities when applicable. Requirements
