Required Abilities, Qualifications And Experience Please Note: The “Learning Services” Relief Teachers will travel as a cohort, teaching classes of students while the regular classroom teachers collaborate on student learning. valid BC professional teaching certificate (BCCT) extensive academic training, professional preparation and qualifications in teaching in all areas of this assignment knowledge of, and demonstrated application of the Ministry of Education's current philosophy, teaching practices, and evaluation/assessment/reporting procedures as applied to multiple levels of instruction demonstrated knowledge of curriculum and instruction at all grade levels demonstrated ability to work closely with staff in a team-oriented approach to teaching with evidence of strong organizational, communication and classroom management skills demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging, impactful lessons demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with students and parents demonstrated ability to be flexible and to adapt to a variety of classroom assignments, ranging from K to 12 demonstrated commitment to, and engagement in, ongoing professional development demonstrated strong interpersonal and collaborative skills applicants must possess a valid BC driver's license and have the use of a vehicle For Further Information Contact: Nicole Driscoll, District Principal of Curriculum, Early Learning and Child Care or Sean Wicker, District Principal of Curriculum and Careers Phone: 604.794.5553.

Requirements
